Wisconsin Adult Center serves adults 18 years and older who have may have a cognitive or physical disability, traumatic brain injury, or advanced age individuals.. Our mission is to create a better quality of life for all of our members through member centered programs.
Our program is a member centered program. The program offers activities such as independent skills, art, music, communication skills , community involvement and sensory integration.
Having a combination of appropriate activities geared towards each member and a soothing environment creates a more efficient program. It's our goal to strive to improve each members quality of life, enhance learning capabilities, enhance social behavior and make each member's day enjoyable. Staff uses proactive and reassuring methods to help members succeed.
Our program is our member’s program, they guide us in creating the program that best suits them to gain more independence and allows more personal choice.
Wisconsin Adult Center offers 1-2 day trial days. This is a great way to ensure our program is a good a perfect fit for potential member.
Prior to scheduling trial days potential member should complete a tour and complete assessment forms.
All trial days must be authorized by MCO or budget team prior to trial day or if private pay must be paid for in advance.
*Trial days are used for assessment of the individual. Outings, Music Therapy and Art Therapy will not be offered during trial days.
